Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been used to great effect in China and the Far East for over 2500 years. It is based on balancing the body’s subtle energies in order to restore the healthy relationship between the bodies various organs and systems. The World Health Organisation recommends acupuncture treatment for a wide range of conditions.

  • A Master Teacher’s License (Menkyo Kaiden) in Traditional Japanese Medicine
  • An Advanced Certificate in Chinese Acupuncture
  • Advanced Membership of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP)
  • A Diploma in Advanced Chinese Tuina (Acupoints, Massage & Manipulation)
  • As part of his post-graduate osteopathy education he is skilled in the ‘Dry Needling’ and other techniques of Western Medical ‘Trigger Point Therapy
  • Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine
